Card-Shark freut sich, unseren langjährigen Bestseller anbieten zu können: ESPionage von Dave Humphrey, mit Verfeinerungen von Charlie Frye!
Jeweils einen Satz von 5 ESP Karten nutzend, entspricht die vom Zuschauer gelegte Reihenfolge exakt IHRER gewählten Kartenreihenfolge.
Nachdem die Karten gemischt wurden, legen Sie Ihre ESP Karten einzeln bildunten auf den Tisch. Ihr Zuschauer versucht jeweils NACH Ihrer Auswahl, mit Ihren Gedanken Kontakt aufzunehmen und die gleiche Karte auf den Tisch zu legen. Nachdem die Karten auf den Tisch gelegt wurden, vergleichen Sie gemeinsam das Ergebnis. Der Zuschauer hat exakt die richtige Reihenfolge Ihrer Karten erraten. Dies kann mehrfach wiederholt werden in unterhaltsamer Art und Weise.
Nur 10 ESP Karten werden genutzt; keinerlei Griffe notwendig, Daves und Charlies narrensichere Methode macht all das möglich! Neben unserem größeren Parlour Format sind die Karten nun auch im Poker Format erhältlich.

ESPionage is an ESP matching effect per the writeup above. It is clearly explained and has some nice touches as convincers should certain situations arise.
I deducted one star because there is no crediting to other creators. For example, Ben Seidman’s „Oracle System“ is pretty much the same effect and method, although Ben’s trick uses tarot cards rather than ESP cards.

I would like to get the records straight: When we released ESPionage, we thought it was Charlie Frye’s initial idea, but we corrected it as he added interesting touches to the idea of Dave Humphrey. Michael Murray pointed me to this mistake and I corrected the artwork. Btw, more or less at the same time (in 2013) two other companies released more or less the same idea at the same time: Alakazam (Peter Nardi) as well as MindFX (Michael Murray).
The mentioned effect of Ben Seidman (Oracle System) was released in 2021, and I wonder if he credited our creation in his instructions. Jim, can you check this please?

I learned Dave Humphrey’s routine from Michael Murray, but when Card-Shark released the Parlour size cards, I jumped at it. I have been performing with these cards for over 3 years, and they are SO EASY to work with. The M**ks are very easy to read, with just a quick glance, and the routining, including the touches from Charlie Frye, is so well done. As a collector, and seller, of all things ESP card related, these are the cards I point people to most often, due to the size. I also perform this once as „me, reading the spectator’s mind,“ but on repeating it, I then play it as the spectator reading my mind. It kills every time, no matter how the outcome plays out.
