Card-Shark is thrilled to offer one of our best selling effect: ESPionage, by Dave Humphrey with refinements by Charlie Frye!
Utilizing two sets of 5 ESP cards, your spectator’s card choices exactly match the order of YOUR face down cards. After mixing your respective packets of five ESP cards, you lay one ESP card face down on the table. Your spectator now tries to connect with your thoughts and places a card face down, hoping to match your selection. After all the cards are placed on the table in this fashion, it is revealed your spectator has done a perfect job of matching YOUR selections, card for card.
Only 10 ESP cards are used; no difficult sleights; Dave’s and Charlie’s fool proof method makes it all possible!
Besides our larger Parlour cards this effect is now also available in Poker format.

ESPionage is an ESP matching effect per the writeup above. It is clearly explained and has some nice touches as convincers should certain situations arise.
I deducted one star because there is no crediting to other creators. For example, Ben Seidman’s “Oracle System” is pretty much the same effect and method, although Ben’s trick uses tarot cards rather than ESP cards.

I learned Dave Humphrey’s routine from Michael Murray, but when Card-Shark released the Parlour size cards, I jumped at it. I have been performing with these cards for over 3 years, and they are SO EASY to work with. The M**ks are very easy to read, with just a quick glance, and the routining, including the touches from Charlie Frye, is so well done. As a collector, and seller, of all things ESP card related, these are the cards I point people to most often, due to the size. I also perform this once as “me, reading the spectator’s mind,” but on repeating it, I then play it as the spectator reading my mind. It kills every time, no matter how the outcome plays out.
