Description
Tommy Wonder was one of the top performers and thinkers in magic, many consider him one of the most important magicians of our time.
His "Books of Wonder", published by Hermetic Press as well as the "Visions of Wonder", published by L&L Publishing, demonstrate a master at work and should not miss on any magician‘s shelf.
In both publications, one effect stood remarkably out and is one of the best Wild Card Effects of all time: The Tamed Card.

Could not understand the instructions. Seems like a great trick, but Tommy doesn’t know how to explain very well, and Max’s interruptions makes it even less clear. I cannot understand written instructions in a book, so that was useless to me. You do receive several packs and a Phoenix forcing deck. Neither are of any use to me. Maybe great for some, just not for me.

Hi Rob, we provide not only the chapter of Visions of Wonder but also the chapter of Books of Wonder, Tommy is usually a great teacher. I agree that this is not a very simple trick, something we are well known for. His Tamed Cards are worth studying it though.
Please give it another try, and if not, contact us and we will discuss in a video call where you struggle and see how to kut the knot.

Hi guys, I would like to add my experience. The trick itself is fantastic, no doubts at all. However, to explain the whole procedure in writing is a very hard task. Just imagine, you wanted to teach somebody to solve the Rubic-cube or to play a hard piece on piano – in writing. Almost impossible. But I would like to encourage Rob, or/and anybody else, it is worth it. I tried it from the video, step by step, split into several mile-stones (or rather, several meter-stones). Do not go further, if you are not perfectly familiar with the current phase, no matter, how small the steps are. If you are not pretty sure, read the text enclosed to better understand the video, not vice versa, and you will manage. In my case, it was at least 15 small steps, some of them being really tiny intricacies, all together taking several hours. Maybe I was too clumsy, but yes, the trick is sophisticated and in the end it pays.
