The effect

And indeed, the Mona Lisa suddenly holds a playing card in her hand – a card that wasn’t there before!

But that’s not all: when the back of the card is revealed, Mona Lisa suddenly appears from behind – and the painting is clearly fake.

In the final climax, you top off the effect: when Mona Lisa’s front is shown again, she has turned the playing card over. It is the playing card previously drawn by the spectator!
