Our Phoenix decks were developed specifically for magicians. However, the paper quality of USPC many magicians are used to has had one drawback for years: it reacts immediately to moisture, sweaty hands, and heavy use, becoming unusable due to dark edges (with USPC, the black adhesive in the middle of the paper layers is water-soluble, whereas with our Taiwanese cards, it isn’t!) This is one of the reasons why we switched to producing playing cards in Taiwan.

Classic plastic cards are significantly more durable, but they often feel different and aren’t suitable for every card-handling challenge.
The Phoenix Resilience Deck finally bridges these two worlds.
