Description

We developed the original Double-Decker in 2009, and it is the most revolutionary playing card deck of the 21st century. It is the first and only playing card deck where the cards are so thin that 108 cards fit into a standard card box. This allows you to use two full playing card decks at the same time, while spectators expect to see only a single playing card deck of 54 cards. The possibilities are endless, as are the different combinations. Thanks to the wide range of options available, you can easily customize and assemble the Double-Decker that’s right for you.

With the variety of choices you can easily combine the perfect Parlour Double Decker for you. Basically, it contains 108 cards (including jokers) in Parlour format, with the first half containing a complete game (blank picture pages are an exception) and the second half various setups such as another complete game, a forcier game or a 2-way forcier game.

With the help of the Rough and Smooth spray set and the spray grid, you can easily prepare the cards and develop even stronger effects, as a complete deck of cards can be shown, although another card is hidden behind each card.

Features of the Parlour Double-Decker:

• The cards of the Double-Decker are so ultra-thin that two complete games incl. Jokers fit into a standard box of cards (see the demo video)!
• Design, card size and corner rounding are exactly the same as a standard Phoenix deck
• The card box of the Double-Decker is similar to the Phoenix card box (with minor – deliberate – deviations) and allows for easy deck replacement
• The backs are fully marked like the Phoenix Marked Deck, allowing for interesting new effects
• The Double-Decker deck can be ordered in numerous combinations and can easily replace the Phil Deck, Trilogy Deck or other well-known thin decks.
• The preparation with Rau-Glatt spray minimally changes the thickness of the pack, but 104 cards will still fit into the box. We have specially developed the Phoenix Rough-Smooth Spray Set for simple rough-smooth preparation.
• Gluing the cards into pairs (as in the Get Sharky effect by Christoph Borer, for example) does not increase the thickness of the game, which means that 108 cards still fit into the box.
